Recently, we have seen an increase in inquiries regarding counterfeit certificates falsely using our company name (Overseas Merchandise Inspection Co., Ltd. / OMIC Bangkok). Below is a sample of a counterfeit certificate. Please note that our company does not use the format or official seals shown in this example. Furthermore, we never list free email addresses on our official certificates.

We urge all customers, business partners and other recipients to exercise caution and not to rely on or act upon any suspicious certificate unless its authenticity has been verified with us at coor.th@omicnet.com. If you receive any certificate that appears suspicious or if you have any doubt as to its authenticity, please contact us directly for verification before taking any action or entering into any transaction. We shall not be responsible for any loss or damage arising from reliance on counterfeit or unauthorised certificates issued by any third party.

We take this matter seriously and will report the matter to the police for further investigation. We expressly reserve all rights to take any legal action against any person who creates, uses or disseminates such forged documents, including the right to claim compensation for any losses or damages suffered by us.
